Purgina - Crowdberry

Purgina is a family-owned company with 34 years of tradition, specialising in the printing of self-adhesive labels, which currently has a 14% market share of the Slovak market. It provides its services to hundreds of clients in various industries, including well-known brands such as Zwack Unicum, Hubert, Stock Spirits and Marlenka, as well as being private label suppliers to Lidl.

The company has recently undergone a significant optimization that improved its profitability and entered into a strategic partnership to increase its growth potential. Average annual revenues are €6 million; with a new strategic partner (a large new client) and further optimization, potential revenues rise to €7 million per year.

Investment opportunity

A local, proven and secured investment opportunity in the form of a crowdfunded loan, which will enable investors to act as "bankers" to the company and thus receive regular interest income with principal repayment.

Purgina is seeking private investors to raise €1.3 million in capital in the form of private debt.
The investment offers an annual interest return, paid regularly every quarter with a principal maturity of up to 3 years and a return of 1.39 times the amount invested. In addition, investors will receive a bonus of 1.5% of the company's earnings when the loan matures. The investment is secured, which reduces the risk for investors. The effective annual return is therefore expected to be 12.9%.
The minimum investment is €1,000.
The funds raised will be used to refinance liabilities and pay suppliers. This will allow the company to obtain discounts on materials and to frontload orders from the new strategic partner. This move could increase the company's sales by up to 17%, strengthening its position on the market.

Mandatory quarterly interest payments and repayment of the entire investment after 3 years, with an effective annual return of 12.9%.
A very well-diversified portfolio of domestic and foreign customers, where up to 80 % of them are long-term clients (20+ years of partnership).
For the first half of 2024, the company's profitability is higher than before the Covid pandemic and the energy/materials crisis. The investment will allow it to obtain additional savings and increase profitability.
Repayment of the investment will come out of the cash flow of the company or refinancing of the debt by the bank. Estimated profitability based on the latest actual results covers the repayment of the loans with a sufficient margin.
In addition, the investment is secured by movable assets (the company's machinery), inventories as well as shares. The estimated liquidation value of the collateral exceeds the amount of the loan.
