Crowdberry investments now also have the option of secondary trading.

Crowdberry has successfully tested an electronic notice board – a tool that allows investors to advertise their interest in buying or selling their investments. This creates space for secondary trading, an important step towards increasing the liquidity of investments. Any registered individual or company on the Crowdberry platform that meets regulatory requirements and other conditions listed on this page can advertise through the electronic notice board.

Today, crowdfunding offers investors the opportunity to invest smaller amounts into small and medium-sized enterprises as well as real estate, while an important topic remains the possibility of how to exit an investment.

Secondary trading via the electronic notice board is a place where investors can offer their acquired shares or provided loans for sale to other investors – for example, to those who missed a particular investment round or are interested in the shares of a given company.

Electronic notice board has been tested in the regulatory sandbox of the National Bank of Slovakia, and its pilot (beta) version is currently available to all registered investors on the Crowdberry platform. The NBS regulatory sandbox is an environment where companies can test innovative solutions in real conditions, but under supervision and with clearly defined rules.

How does it work?

Online and simple. After logging into their Crowdberry account, investors will find in their dashboard under the “Invested Opportunities” section the investments they can currently offer for sale.

In the initial launch phase, shares of the companies Isadore, GymBeam, and Dúbravská oáza (Senior House) are available for sale. At Crowdberry, we are gradually working to enable investors to sell and buy shares of other companies such as MultiplexDX, Boataround, Sensoneo, and more. By the end of 2025, we plan to prepare and gradually add at least 15 investments for secondary trading.

Do you want to sell shares?

After clicking on “Offer for Sale,” the investor chooses how many shares they want to sell and at what price. The system then naturally guides the investor through the entire process until the offer is finally published on the electronic notice board.

Did you miss an investment round and would like to buy shares?

Visit the page with all advertised share offers. Choose the one that suits you best, read the conditions, and let the selling investor know you are interested in buying. To view full offers, including prices and details, investors must be logged into the platform with their user credentials.

Good to Know!

The Crowdberry platform operates the electronic notice board, which enables and simplifies trading with acquired shares while also covering the administrative part of the entire transaction.

The terms of the trade, such as the number of shares and the final price, are a matter of agreement between the buyer and the seller, and Crowdberry does not intervene in this process. The buyer and the seller may agree on a different price or number of shares than originally advertised. Investors then inform Crowdberry of this agreement, and Crowdberry processes all investment documents, including the transfer of shares with the licensed securities dealer.

Who Can Trade on the Notice Board?

Any registered person on the Crowdberry platform who meets regulatory requirements and other conditions, namely:

- Completion of identity verification on the Crowdberry platform (via the Trustmatic service)

- Completion of the investment questionnaire

- Completion of the AML process on the Crowdberry platform

- Established securities account, either for a natural person or a legal entity, at Slovenská sporiteľňa

- Shares transferred to the securities account at Slovenská sporiteľňa

- Signed power of attorney for the settlement of the trade, i.e., the transfer of shares and the settlement of the purchase price

The settlement of share sales and purchases takes place through the infrastructure of Slovenská sporiteľňa, our banking partner. We recommend setting up a securities account with this bank. We will be happy to assist you both with opening the account and with transferring your shares.
