Kellys Bicycles secured funding from investors in record time

At Crowdberry, we believe that strong domestic companies with a European reach are key to boosting our region’s competitiveness. The story of the KELLYS BICYCLES brand shows that strategic innovation is the best response to changing market conditions.

We secured €1 million in short-term financing to support sales for the 2026 season in just 10 days. Investor demand exceeded the target amount by 40%.

Investors secured an annual return of 9.8% with both principal and interest maturity after 6 months. This investment opportunity thus ranked among the fastest to close on the platform.

“For investors, the combination of return, security, and time horizon is important. In this investment opportunity, we managed to balance these factors so that they made sense from both a risk and return perspective. At the same time, it is an opportunity with a clear purpose that supports the production of an innovative electric bicycle,” says Marek Baranyai, debt financing manager at Crowdberry.

Why has this investment opportunity attracted investors?

• Competitiveness: The company is successfully navigating the challenging post-pandemic period and is entering 2026 with positive sales momentum. A strong first quarter and new models give it a competitive edge in a consolidating market.
• Product leader: Kellys launched the lightest e-bike in its class for the 2026 season and reaffirmed its position as a technological innovator.
• Short-term fixed-income investment: Secured loan with a yield of 9.8% p.a. and a 6-month maturity.
