Eyerim aims to achieve sales of €30 million and is opening new opticians in other large cities (Košice, Warsaw, Krakow, Bucharest, etc.). The stores in Prague and Bratislava are visited by more than 200 customers a day and, after a year of operation, are profitable and have achieved sales of over €1.2 million. Eyerim operates in several countries with different languages, rules, and purchasing behavior, so it must adapt its offerings and services to local conditions. Sunglasses continue to account for a large portion of sales, as people tend to view them as an accessory. In tougher economic times, customers may be more likely to reconsider their purchase and postpone it, which can affect sales.

Selling glasses is seasonal – demand is highest during the summer months, which places demands on inventory and financial planning throughout the year.
Rapid growth requires good logistics, customer service, and internal processes—if any part of the equation is lacking, customer satisfaction can suffer.

Competition - Eyerim faces competition from local online retailers and stone-based opticians. However, its advantage lies in its international presence in several countries and the combination of online and stone-based sales, which gives it greater brand visibility and better customer service.

Risk factors

The investment opportunity offers investors an interest yield of 10.2–12.5% p.a., depending on the fulfillment of contractual conditions and the achievement of sales.


The interest yield is calculated as: fixed 7% p.a. + 12-month Euribor rate (currently 2.09% p.a.) + investor premium from sales of 1.125% - 3.37% p.a.. You can find out more in the investment documentation after submitting a non-binding expression of interest.

What does the interest yield of 10.2–12.5% p.a. consist of?

There are several players in the optical segment in Slovakia, mainly in the area of physical stores. However, Eyerim has long held a leading position in online sales – according to data, it is one of the most visited and best-known brands in online optics on the Slovak market.

By combining its own technology platform, customer service, and effective marketing, it has built a competitive advantage that is beginning to be reflected in its business results. In addition, linking online sales with services in physical stores, such as eye tests and diopter configuration, strengthens customer trust and increases conversion. As a result, Eyerim is perceived as a dominant player in the online space with growing influence in the physical segment as well.

Isn't there much competition on the Slovak market?

A security mechanism serves to protect investors against loan default by the company. The investment is secured by several instruments:
- notarial deed
- lien rights to inventories, receivables and movable property
- guarantee by a Czech company
- If a loan of at least EUR 1 million is drawn down and the condition of 10% positive equity as at 30 September 2026 is not met, the founders' business shares will also be included as collateral.


The value of this collateral exceeds the amount of the loan – the so-called LTV (Loan-to-Value) is a maximum of 70%. Simply put, investors are only lent up to approximately 70% of the value of the property available as collateral.

What if the company is unable to repay the debt to investors?

In addition to a fixed interest rate, investors are also entitled to an annual bonus linked to the company's revenue growth. The bonus is calculated as 2.25 % of the difference in sales between 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 and is paid once a year, always three months after the end of the financial year.


The year-on-year growth in sales from which the bonus is calculated is capped:
 – minimum of EUR 1 million (floor) – the minimum represents additional interest income of 1.125% above the margin and 12-month EURIBOR
 – maximum EUR 3 million (cap) – the maximum represents additional interest income of 3.375% above the margin and 12-month EURIBOR

For loans below EUR 2 million, the amount of the limit shall be adjusted proportionally.

How does the payment of the investment bonus from year-on-year sales growth work?

The return corresponds to the profile of a company that has been growing and generating profits for a long time, but at the same time has negative equity and uses external financing for further development. The assigned interest rate therefore balances the higher level of risk that the investor is taking. The return is based on the company's internal assessment (credit score at level C), which takes into account the overall growth potential, ability to repay the loan, or collateral for the loan.
