Three new colleagues join Crowdberry’s real estate team
On the back of the rising interest in investment opportunities in residential, logistics, industrial and retail real estate as well as senior housing, we have decided to expand the Crowdberry team with the addition of three experienced managers. In addition, we will continue to develop our portfolio of investment opportunities in 2022 and we have more transactions in the pipeline.
“We would like to offer Crowdberry investors more investment opportunities in the real estate segment this year and we also want to focus on further developing the CB Property Investors fund. In order to do so, we have decided to strengthen the Crowdberry team with more colleagues,” says Peter Bečár, Crowdberry partner responsible for the management of the real estate segment, including the CB Property Investors fund.
One new addition to Crowdberry is Jan Rovný, whose arrival we wrote about earlier. The marketing department has also been strengthened by Libor Pokorný, who joined us from the development and investment group RS Group, where he was responsible for overseeing its rebranding and the marketing of the brand, as well as for the marketing of individual development projects. Prior to that, he worked at SeneCura.
Our latest addition to the team is Jan Kvarda. Jan brings experience from the transaction advisory team at EY and from the audit of financial institutions at KPMG, where he worked for the largest Czech banks and insurance companies, EPH and the PPF financial group, including PPF Real Estate. He also worked on the acquisitions of AXA Group, METRO AG, Equa bank and the merger of Air Bank and MONETA Money Bank.
“When I was deciding where to take my career next, I chose Crowdberry, mainly because it is a young company with great growth potential that I would like to be involved in. What I particularly appreciate about the real estate team is the ability to adapt to the market. With property prices rising across segments over the last few years, we are looking for opportunities in property development. Conversely, when property prices are more favourable, we will move into acquisitions. We want to bring our investors the best opportunities in every situation,” says Jan Kvarda, who is also co-author of our Crowdberry Real Estate Report Q4 2021 residential market guide.
We are excited to welcome our new colleagues and confident that their experience and drive will help us meet Crowdberry’s goals and our investors' expectations.
